How do I report my out-of-state exemption and pay my late fee for the 2022-2024 Reporting Period by the November 30, 2024 grace period credit reporting deadline?
If you were entitled to the out-of-state exemption for the 2022-2024 reporting period on June 30, 2024, your final deadline to report this exemption to the MCLE Board is 11:59 p.m. CST on November 30, 2024. Click
here
for more information on which attorneys qualify for this exemption.
November 30, 2024 is also the deadline for you to submit the late fee for this reporting period.
If you timely entered and paid for a grace period extension because you had "not yet complied" with your Illinois MCLE requirements by the June 30, 2024 credit completion deadline and paid the $100.00 late fee with that report, no additional fee is due if you report your out-of-state exemption no later than the November 30, 2024 grace period credit reporting deadline.
If your transcript did not reflect that you achieved compliance on or before the June 30, 2024 credit completion deadline or you did not enter and pay for a grace period extension by the July 31, 2024 credit reporting deadline, then the late fee you owe is $250.00.
