How do I report my compliance and pay my late fee for the 2020-2022 Reporting Period by the ARDC's November 30, 2022 final compliance deadline?

For the 2020-2022 reporting period, your final completion and reporting deadline is 11:59 p.m. CST on November 30, 2022. November 30, 2022 is also the deadline for you to submit your late fee this reporting period.
  • If you timely reported to the MCLE Board that you had "not yet complied" with your MCLE requirements by the June 30, 2022 completion deadline, then the late fee you owe is $100.00.
  • If you did not submit a report to the MCLE Board by the July 31, 2022 reporting deadline, then the late fee you owe is $250.00.
Here is how to report “complied” and pay your late fee by 11:59 p.m. CST on November 30, 2022.
  1. Click here to go to our website’s attorney page. On the right side of that page, log in with your ARDC number and password.
    • Click here to retrieve ARDC number from ARDC website
    • Reset password: click Forgot/Create Password link directly below the password box
  2. Click on the “Report Now” button that will appear on that page after logging in.
  3. On the next page, details about the deadlines for 2020-2022 reporting period will display. Click the “Report Now” button below the box with those details.
  4. On the next page, check the box “I have complied with the MCLE Requirement.” Then click “Next Page” to continue reporting.
  5. On the next page, enter the total number of credits you earned on or after July 1, 2022 toward meeting your 30-hour MCLE requirement for the 2020-2022 reporting period.  On that same page, you will also enter the number of professional responsibility ("PR") credits you earned in each of the PR categories that are included in that total number of credits you earned on or after July 1, 2022. Then click “Next Page” to continue reporting.
  6. Read the page titled “Certify your Report Below” then check the box to certify your report.
  7. Make certain that you reach the page titled “Pending Fee Payment – Certification Not Submitted Until Payment Received.” On that page, you can choose to pay the late fee by credit card or by mailing a check. If you choose to pay the late fee by mailing a check with the invoice printed online, that check and invoice must be received by the MCLE Board no later than November 30, 2022.
After submitting your report and paying the late fee, you can print your MCLE Certification receipt for your records. Do NOT send that page or receipt to the Board unless we ask for it.
