Two Steps for compliance:

  1. participate in an accredited Basic Skills Course and earn a certificate of attendance. Keep that form for three years. We will ask for it if you are audited; and
  2. you will receive a Certification Form from the MCLE Board near the end of the first year you are licensed in Illinois. To evidence your compliance with the MCLE Basic Skills Course requirement you must complete and return the Certification Form to the Board.
